Campaign Zero Police Reform

Police officers are important and their

service is valuable to society. However,

there is a disconnect between the

communities and the officers. The

equipment that officers carry also add

to that disconnect. There have been a

number of scenarios between citizens

and police in which the use of excessive

force has caused those situations to

escalate. This is due to the militarization

of police officers. An unfortunate pattern

has been created over a period of time,

and it’s time for change.

TRUTH: The police are meant to protect

our communities.

QUESTION: What can be done to bridge

the gap between the police and the

community?

ASK: Inform and educate on the issue of

militarization, and the importance of

police training.
